Steve Knows the Difference.

This is a baseball game, NOT a My Little Pony convention.

The Natural Truth

During a recent conversation with Steve via g-chat, he floored me
with some beautiful truth. I haven't been this blind sided by truth
in a long time. I felt obligated to share Steve's wisdom with his
fans. So many things in my life now make sense...

me: People really shouldn't poop at work. I was just taking a piss
and it sounded like an animal was in the stall next to me. So much
groaning...
me: PS - the new Wolfmother song is pretty damn good.

Steve: I'll have to check it out, the new DMB song is pretty solid as well

me: oh yeah? haven't heard it yet what's it called?

Steve: just go to the websiteIt's Funny

me: don't tell me what to do

Steve: or, something like that...Funny how...something with "Funny" in it

me: Anyway, bottom line, people shouldn't do that kind of crap at
work...no pun intended....ZING!

Steve: dude...some of out atty's go into the toilet with a full
newspaper...and terrible, terrible, intentions

And then Steve laid down some truth...

Steve: its like...if you were born before 1970: 1.) you take huge,
loud, nasty, dumps with no concern for other people whatsoever...And
courtesey flush is never going to happen. 2.) you don't wash your
hands after you piss, unspoken, oldshcool, law

Steve is Crafty

If you are a true bananas follower you may have noticed that I took down the original post featuring Steve's inspirational quote. This is because Steve is crafty. He had that quote as his gtalk status. So I thought, this quote is incredibly fruity and belongs with a unicorn on the interweb.

I posted it and then went to lunch. I got back to an email from Steve saying, "
Got that quote from a family member in a birthday card this year...Made me feel really good, and cared about. It's originally a quote from Neil Gaiman, who I coincidentally just started reading. But, thanks for the blogspot...Very kind of you."

Feeling bad for exploiting Steve,
I quickly removed the fruity unicorn quote. I tried to apologize. He ignored me. Then he finally answered me by asking "How do you spell "psyche"?

The Steve is a crafty creature – not to be trusted

Steve's Wish For You

"May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you're wonderful, and don't forget to make some art -- write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself."

Guest Blogger: Steve

As you may recall from our introduction of Steven, he is a man who engages in making fun of the whole idea of blogs, yet he blogs on a consistent basis. Here is an example.

A blog, by Steve, in the guise of a g-chat away message:

When I was a boy, the bestselling books were often the books that were on your piano teacher's shelf. I mean, Steinbeck, Hemingway, some Faulkner. Faulkner actually had, considering how hard he is to read, and how drastic the experiments are, quite a middle-class readership. But certainly someone like Steinbeck was a bestseller as well as a Nobel Prize-winning author of high intent. You don't feel that now. I don't feel that we have the merger of serious and pop— it's gone, dissolving. Tastes have coarsened.

I Don't Want To See Your Old Banana

This doesn't have much to do with Steve... sorry. But when I was searched "old bananas" in Google Images this delightful man showed up. What he has to do with old bananas is a mystery to me.

Christmas In January

I don't know where the time has gone. It seems like only yesterday I was basking in the glow of Steve's whiskey induced Christmas spirit. When January gets dreary and I need some warm happy thoughts I curl up with my memories of the Henderson's Newburyport Christmas Bonanza. It's like wrapping a little electric heated blanket around my heart. I plug that heated blanket in ... and I am in a better place. My hope is that these pictures will do the same for you. Enjoy.

Yay! A Christmas Tree!

"Can we open the presents now?? Pleeeeease?
