Steve is going home. Steve is going to Boston. He thinks he need a sunrise, he's tired of the sunset, he knows it's nice in the Summer, some snow would be nice... oh yeah.
Steve has had "I think I'll go to Boston" as his gtalk saying many times during the past 3 weeks. And now it's finally time. He will be there! Tomorrow!
I picture him excitedly packing up his little suitcase and worrying about his mail. Should he leave a note? Will the mailbox get too full? He is most likely listening to Augustana, perhaps he is doing some fist pumping in the air. It's very exciting.
Last week we discussed our flights and when we'd be home (near Boston). We both have red eye flights. This discussion took a sharp turn down a very uncomfortable road when Steve shared what 'Red Eye' makes him think of.
Steven: yeah
"Think I'll go back to Boston"
Some snow would be nice
me: easy there, augustana
so what day are you leaving seattle?
Steven: 17th RED EYE
boston red eye
so funny
you know what that meant when I was a kid?
so gross
but, kids always used to do it
me: what?!?
i don't want to know.
Steven: you'd moon
the person
but, pull the cheeks apart
boston red eye
me: oh my god!
sick
Steven: hahaha
swear to god...
me: you'd show your balloon knot?
Steven: hahaha
not me
me: haha
Steven: but, other kids
me: thank gawd
Now I can never fly 'red eye' without throwing up a little bit in my mouth.
Soon there will be live updates from our Boston-based 'Steve Reporter'. Stay tuned. And Merry Christmas!!

Steve's Saturday
Steve has been known to go and read in coffee shops on Saturdays. A. Because he likes coffee. B. Because he likes books. C. Because he seems to hold a hope that an Italian beauty who also loves coffee and books will come over to his table and tell him she loves his half-zip sweater. This comment, of course, leading them into a happy life together.
So this Saturday Steve will be at a coffee shop in the Ballard or Phinney Ridge neighborhood. He will have a book. He will have a half zip sweater (most likely).
But besides this Steve has made it clear that he will see J.C.V.D. today.

I am probably going to see it by myself tomorrow
I don't even care
me: i'll go
Steve: I have to see it
So Steve will be seeing this movie. Most likely alone, even though people will offer to go (as seen above). Tomorrow I hope to post his thoughts on the movie. Stay tuned.

Introducing Steve
Steve has been avidly mocking blogs since the the beginning of blogs. He constantly quips that he'll blog about things, like new movies or his emotions. But it never happens. Steve is a person who should blog. Just because he won't... does that mean the world should be deprived a glimpse into Steve's mind? Steve's point of view? Steve's day? Steve's likes and dislikes? No! The world should be exposed to Steve. Even if someone else has to do the exposing.
Get ready for a look at life through Steve's eyes... on "Steve Smells Like Old Bananas" A blog about Steve.
